We are having fun!

We took a trip to Bozeman, MT to visit with Uncle Chuck and Aunt Loralee McGuire. She is a sister to Grandpa Grant Holland. It was so nice to sit and talk with them about their lives and our lives. As we talked, we found out that I have known them for years. Uncle Chuck was the Branch President in Big Sky, MT while I was working at a store there. What a small world. They were very excited to meet us and we felt the same. One can never go far without finding some relation to someone. We look forward to keeping in touch.




We have had a busy month! Nic got a job at INL with CWI in Idaho Falls, ID. After learning that CWI wanted Nic to start the next Monday, we started to pack the apartment in Butte. I have had to pack up on short notice before, but this was crazy! We found a house to rent on 12th street in Idaho Falls, ID. We were excited to be out of apartments and in a house! Once we got to the house, we started to unpack with the help of many family members and new found friends. Little did we know that due to an owner that was not reliable, we ended up packing up again and moving to Kingswood Circle where we are now. That is the short story.



This is our Butte, MT apartment. It was very sad to leave, but we are so excited for the new stage in our lives. We will be going back for Nic's graduation ceremony in May which will be fun.


This is the 12th Street home that we lived in for a week. Kiel, along with the Flamms and Kurt and Katrina, came to help us unpack. We did not realize that we would only live there for a week so we unpacked a lot. Thank goodness for family because they all came back the next Saturday to help us load and unload all our stuff into a new home.


Elise and I are sitting on the floor in the 12th street home having some lunch. We could not have asked for a better little girl during the moving. She kept us in good spirits and was so happy to just be able to sit and play. She did have her moments, but she was wonderful.
I guess I don't have any pictures of the Kingswood Circle home yet. I will have to get on that! Stay tuned.


Elise is growing up so fast! She has decided that she enjoys being read to as long as she can hold the book. Her favorite books are about a fire bear as well as "Peep." The book that she is holding in the picture is a Winnie the Pooh book. It is about how there are things for friends to do all year long.


As if the Winnie the Pooh book was not entertainment enough, she thinks that she needs to read Daddy's books. Well, she just likes to sit on them so that Daddy can't read them....so he can play with her! I guess we could start her young and she could follow in Daddy's footsteps.


Look who is getting older! This is in our Kingswood home. She is sitting on the counter in the kitchen. It is big enough that I can set her in it and still have room to do whatever I am doing without her falling off. BUT then she decided to learn how to scoot backwards on her bottom, so she is not allowed on the counter anymore...except for picutres like this one...who can resist that face!?!??!?



Nic has been doing a lot of training on the computer for his job. There are various tests he has to take to be able to get one step closer to getting into what he will actually be doing. It is a lot of work, but he is very excited for all the experiences he will have. He has started to ride the bus to work. He leaves the house at 5:00am and walks to the bus stop. The bus then drops him off around 6:30pm and he walks home. It makes for a long day for all of us, but with him only working four days each week, it is worth it.

We are very excited to have Easter this year with family. Stef, Randal, Kurt, Katrina and Kiel will be coming to our home for dinner. We have a tradition in the Holland family, and I think that it may also be in the Flamm family, that we do egg cracking contests. Each person has a hardboiled egg that is hit against another persons egg. If the egg cracks it is out of the contest. In the end, whoever has the unbroken egg is the winner. It is a fun little game; many laughs are exchanged.

We have been very blessed with all the changes in our family. We are ever so grateful for the great job that Nic now has; for the wonderful home that we have to live in; for all the family and friends we are surrounded by. We are very happy to be here in Idaho Falls where we look forward to many years of memeories to be made.
